Virtual Studio

The Online Private Session is for anyone who prefers the convenience and privacy of their own home. It is also an excellent alternative for clients while traveling.

In the Online Private Session, we design a program to fit your individual needs and movement goals. This also lends itself well to the client who likes an exercise plan to do on their own between sessions.

​

We focus more on the Pilates mat repertoire in these sessions. We work with smaller equipment (foam roller, hand weights, Therabands, a small ball) that you may already have, to assist or increase the challenge during the session. As with the in-studio sessions, we work on strengthening, lengthening, balancing, mobilizing and stabilizing.

​

We will set up a brief assessment interview of your movement history, past injuries and current physical goals before we embark on our first session. Please note that online sessions are not suitable for anyone dealing with acute injuries. In those cases, in-person sessions are recommended.

Home Studio

In the Studio Private Session, we focus on building functional strength, length, controlled mobility, balance, and increased body awareness during movement. We primarily use the Reformer and the Tower, but also incorporate the smaller equipment used in the online classes.

This is a time to focus on form, alignment and muscle strengthening, using cueing to deepen your connection to your body. The Reformer and the Tower will challenge your stability and increase strength and endurance as appropriate for your needs. The varied Pilates repertoire will keep you challenged, focused, and excited to come back for more

We will build a program based on your individual needs: training for a marathon or your next golf game, pre- or postnatal support, recovering from an injury, or just focusing on overall health and mobility.
